It is very fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one motion. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt hair, pet hair, and poop with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help pull away debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, isn't as good. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high rate and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily cleaning up dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It doesn't create as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It is easy to set up and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum solely to mop, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot cleaner with mop vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the house, detect furniture and other obstacles. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its massive dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot vacuum reviews, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start cleaning or recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are worried about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise in recognising objects.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck when it is entangled in a hazard like a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert in its application.

Another potential downside is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't a big deal aside from the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
