World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will gain 3% of its previous damage for every time it's upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item upgrades's level. The cost increases as the item's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons to give them a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be upgraded to blue level before the component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players make stronger versions of the equipment using the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than would be required to reach the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can modify the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player is able to have up to five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of the item will drop at the time of the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their gear even in the event that they don't know how much it can be improved upon the reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be expensive, and there is a substantial risk that the item may be obsolete or even break when it fails. A unsuccessful upgrade could destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items that can increase or even eliminate the chance of failure, as well as some upgrades that provide a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt with the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with a Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will increase the overall value of the glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs, you will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, therefore it is best to put Glyphs in key places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example an Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes, however, you may also want to think about placing them near crucial damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items allows players to improve the stats of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is commonly known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has an amount that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires different components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab of the crafting table. Each upgrade items Recipe that is completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to the upgrading of an item. Once enough points are earned, you will be eligible to claim the upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.

When a player upgrades a piece of equipment, the base item is replaced by an item that is new. This means that the same armor piece will get the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item also has its own set bonus. This can be a disadvantage because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not need it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens to do so. This will cause the item to be traded for a new one, which will come with the level 1 base, and a different set of extra bonuses. This can be useful but it should not be used frequently as it can waste resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives buffs when the player is repeatedly in or leaves the water. The item can be upgraded multiple times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is very useful in PvP. Requirements

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear which can be upgraded up to eight times. Every time you upgrade an object, it is at risk of failing. The probability of failure increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures can cause the item to revert to its initial state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in its growth bar will reset to zero. The item upgrade also loses any bonuses it earned, such as chances to be crit attack damage, additional effects (such as an increase in healing over time or reloading speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that when a weapon gains an increase in crit chance the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots has been added to the item upgrader kit's definition and the value is calculated each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to the value of the base item. For instance an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items could have different upgrade requirements than normal equipment. For example, they may need less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player must visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each upgrade will require a different amount of the ingredients for upgrading.
